The program is arranged in a modular format and incorporates various learning strategies: group discussions, seminars, case methods, lectures, internships, site visit and research. Students are challenged to go beyond the theoretical grounds to practical applications in the workplace. Recognizing the individual needs of today’s students, we have assembled these courses in flexible formats as described below. Additionally, proceeding completion, our students have the opportunities to undertake a joint degree program by fulfilling additional requirements of the chosen partner-university. International class students have the advantage of shorter period of time, and not required, to undertake the matriculation block before advancing to this joint degree track.
Full-time track
This track takes form as a full time, 3 semester (18 months) academic program, designed for executives with limited possibility for an extensive leave of absence.  The first two semesters, each consists of 2 months on-campus period and 4 months internships in designated/own hospitals. The third semester is reserved for a final thesis. Advanced interactive technology is utilized to support interactions between students and faculty members during internships.
International track
A newly developed track that is designed as an international program, jointly organized by GMU and its international partner institutions. This program is an intensive 12-months degree program designed for healthcare executives aiming to earn recognition of international standards. It combines classroom sessions in English and visits to overseas healthcare institutions. Graduates of this program are expected to have additional core competencies to thrive in the intensifying global competition in healthcare market.
Distance learning track
This scheme accommodates those who seek to undergo a master program without taking time out from their work. The program utilizes electronic technology as its main medium, encompassing Interactive CD-ROM, Internet, Tele-conference, etc. Currently there are two tracks within this program, i.e. the general track and the Ministry of Health customized track.
Executive Development Programs
This mode of study takes form as short, intensive courses on specialized topics referred to as Executive Development Programs (EDP). These courses provide effective and efficient learning opportunities, enabling participants to refresh their skills, update them about the latest theories, innovative solutions, and cutting edge tools in hospital management. These programs, has attracted executives and professionals from public and private hospitals in Indonesia. EDP courses are accredited by the University and may be accumulated leading to a master degree.
